A nice, relaxing evening with my cousin, visiting from Alabama. Being able to talk and share my thought and feelings with him, knowing he understands, and listening to his words of wisdom and insight (he knows me better than anyone).

A couple of days spent with my favorite cousin, who is more like a brother to me, than a cousin.

My 7 yr old son, who is a real computer geek at this young age, lost a baby tooth last week, and the adult tooth was growing in right under it, barely visible, but you could see a little of it.

This morning, as I'm driving him to daycamp (note: I was driving), he puts his finger in his mouth to touch the spot, and his eyes get really huge, and he yells at me -

"Mommy it UPGRADED!!"

I busted out laughing so hard, I had to pull my van over to the side of the road! :rofl:

ok... now this one of those "it's funnier if you had been there"....

My mom decided that since it was a nice day today that she was gonna seal the deck.. no biggie.. well... she got all of it except for a 3 x 3 section. She popped her head in my room and said she was running to wal~mart for more sealant... no problem...

So anyways, she gets back... bags in tow... she only went for sealant and came home with several bags lol... well... my little poodle... he's supposed to be a toy poodle but turns out he's more toward the miniture side ... weighs about 20lbs and is a little DareDevil... lol he gets all excited and jumping and running .... well the sliding glass door was open to just the screen... the next we knew... he was haulin butt across the great room... and he ... OMG... he BOUNCED off the screen lol... he didn't get hurt or nothing but dang it was funny...

I love this little guy to death.. he means the world to me... he helped me heal my heart after my miscarriage... he may be a little ornry devil... and into "everything" but one look in those watery brown eyes and seeing the love there.. just melts me everytime... *soft smiles*

yes both of us are thrilled to death... and this is the kick we both got out of it... Alan has a tattoo on his right arm.. called Oklahoma Outlaw... and he's going to work for Outlaw trucking... lol

He called this am... and has passed his pre-trip inspection part of the test... 1 down 2 to go... next 2 are backing and driving....

My aunt bought my little Sami a new toy... black and white spotted cat.... that when mom tore the tag off it growled and growled... he ended up being kinda scared of it... he kept sneaking up behind it and sniffing it... he finally grabbed it by the head and started playing with it... then "he" made it growl... *belly laughs* he jumped about 4 feet away from it ... then lowered his head and barked at it.... once it quit he grabbed it again lol

Seeing my husband after he's been gone for a little over 2 weeks... givin him a hugggggggggee hug and kiss....

Ok.... first off got good news after this orientation that Alan went to last Saturday... They hired him... so that means he gets dedicated runs... he'll make more money... and he'll be home on weekends ~ especially startin off... he'll be doing runs here in Ohio the next couple of weeks....

Second....we found some property... and talked with TK homes last Sunday. And told we took a big step... we put a bid on the property... and hope to be in our new home by April... I told Alan for our anniversary that I wanted to move into Our New Home...

*side note* ~ I'm just stressing just a teeny tiny bit over the total.... even though I know when we talked to the builder... we picked all the options that we wanted ~ there's some that I'm going back through and taking out... and there's work that me and him can do to save money as well...

The cool thing about this is the salesman at TK that we've been talking with is also our general contractor ~ and has been the best... I've been real impressed with them so far... especially costwise...

The subdivisions around here... the same house on a small lot is going for the low 200's.... where we'll have 17.8 acres of land with ours.... plenty of space for us to grow and Alan to have his Rig.... which we plan on having an out building to store it in when he's home....

well.. today was a huge step..... we had a meeting with the builder... signed all the paper work and have another meeting at the property on Tuesday. Everything should be set and ready to get in motion prior to November 15th. Just crossing my fingers that we get approved for the financing.

but this is somewhat how i feel right now :gah:lol but also sooooooo excited:yaayy:

What made me smile today?

Well I am not sure if I have I woke up really late well at noon and have been trying to hustle my big azzzz to get all of my postings done in the morning.

Realized when I logged on here today that I missed being here yesterday :( that was kindof a let down since I am trying to be a regular member and try to bring somethings to the forums although I wonder sometimes.
