What are some of the recent movies you've seen and how would you rate them?

August Rush, not bad at all. Robin Williams plays yet another odd role that is on the sinister side and does it too good, and the kid actor does a real good job also.

I love all the Pirates of the Caribbean Movies (seen each of them at least 50 times). There is just something about Jack Sparrow that I love. Some other movies i seen that I liked were License to Wed, The Devil Wears Prada, The Last Holiday, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers and the Shrek movies ( liked the 1st one best).. The last movie I seen at the theater was Secret Treasure the sequel to National Treasure which was very good too.

I watched Next with Nicholas Cage last night and thought it was decent.

American Gangster - not bad at all

Overall I thought it had some humor but in the end Dean Cook dropped the ball again and made what could have become a flick comparable to others like it, that being a love story, into nothing more than some soft porn. That or he just wanted us all to see his ass a lot of times.

No Country For Old Men - With Tommy Lee Jones, Woody Harrelson, Josh Brolin, Barry Corbin.

Not what I'd call typical from recent Tommy Lee films. I think he's too good an actor for the writing of his role, but short of that he played it damn well.
This is an odd movie if you haven't seen it. Pretty brutal and graphic but not as bad as some. The ending was weird and not that great, but all in all it's worth seeing, just wait for it to come out on cable in the free sections or HBO. If I had paid to see it I would have been pissed, but it still gets a thumb up imho.

With Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson and Donald Sutherland.

Not bad at all I think. Has adventure, comedy, a decent story line and some decent acting too.

I'm really wanting to see this movie, mainly because Tommy Lee Jones is in it. I'll watch anything at all that he's in, at least once.

That's the thing about him... he can take a crap role, and make it work. He's just that good of an actor.
