Well I have kids also but for some reason LMAO they don't seem to be interested in there Dad's affairs or his life anymore but such is life. Here is my latest kid and he just had his second birthday on January 4th. He is so precious! This picture was taken shortly after I got him when he was less than a year old.

Chance (my dog) is a akita (sp) mix and my daughter is 16. Here are some more I try to save everything to disk because it seems like I always cleansweep my computer when I get where I can't fix it instead of taking it into a shop LOL

Here is a picture of my boy! This was taken around two years ago. I don't see them that much and the last time that he was around I was on a lot of medications which kept me sleeping (doctor prescribed of course) and I couldn't stay awake long enough to even talk to him

wow your son looks just like you. I'm glad you're clean and sober now.

Way to go being sober now and hope you can find whatever it is daily to stay that way.
It seems you love those kids so if nothing else and you ever start to slip, remember just how screwed up you'll make their lives if you do something stupid and let something take you away that you did and do have control over.
Sorry if that sounds mean or short, but to this day I still think I see my Dad here and there even though he let the booze control him and he's been dead 32 year years.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Kent and I can certainly understand how ya feel. It is really hard to do what we do on a daily basis. I guess what is harder than anything is to know that my ex that has full custody still does what she wants. Of course that is her business but if it gets to the point where my kids might be in danger than I might have to do something, although I have always protected my ex against all of this. OK have to go a busy day. Today is Saturday when My Sister comes over. :)

I am glad your kids are talking to you again. How long did it take them to come around.

My ex was a drinking and abuser and I never touched a drop. My kids when became adults shut me out of their lives because they blame me for putting them through watching their dad abuse me. :confused:
I didn't want to stay but he bullied me by pulling the I will take the kids away from you card.
