Kids Defense Team Project

Kids Defense Team Inc. a non profit 501 C 3 based out of North East, Maryland is seeking a pro bono grant writer to help with a project. The grant would be for ongoing project that Kids Defense Team Inc has been doing. Kids Defense Team Inc has been helping homeless children with clothing, shoes, coats, school supplies etc. Since our funding is limited we have been just helping homeless children in our local area. Kids Defense Team Inc would like to go Nationwide with this project, so we will be looking for a grant. We need help with writing a grant. One of my internship students needed hours towards his graduation requirements. He has been writing some articles for me and his writing seemed pretty good so I ask him to take on the project. I gave him a template outline on what a grant would look like to a website that shows how to write a non profit grant. He will be tackling the project this week, so hopefully he will be able to get somewhere with it. :yes:

Oh kewl! Will this project count towards his graduate requirements?

Yes, the students intern with me and have to do 135 hours with a organization. It is one of their graduation requirements. So the time he puts in on the grant will be put towards his internship.
