Got invited to go see NHL game!!

My friend invited me to go see the Blue Jackets/ Predators game Friday night!! I am so stoked!! This is my first NHL game. I go to IHL games ( Ft Wayne Komets) once in awhile. Got to see a couple of the Championship series games this past spring!! Just awsome!! I love the excitement of sports so much. Wish I could get down there and do that stuff myself lolol.

I'll probably get yelled at, but I am rooting for the Predators lolol... My friends brother is good friends with Jordin Tootoo. Cant let her root for them by herself now can I? LOL:D

Now I gotta go to the grocery to get stuff to make some snacky foods for on the way down and back... mmmmm

I LOVE hockey and would jump at a chance to go to a game. Last one I was at was in Florida between Tampa Bay Lightning and some other team.

I had the privilege of going to a Detroit Red Wings game a few years ago... it was awesome!

Yup I did!!! We sat up in the nosebleed section, but hey.. who wants to get hit by a puck huh? LOL. My friend has a real bad phobia of that happening. So its all good. I will try to take some pics tomorrow night and post them for ya Saturday.

Seeing the Red Wings would have been cool too!! Maybe if I can get myself used to driving longer distances, we could all meet in Columbus for a game sometime?

Question... if it would be possible to do this. Would you mind if my friend came along? She is really cool. It might possibly be another Predators game though. This is if I cant get the courage up to drive alone. I just dont do well in bigger cities I am not familiar with.

Of course not, the more the merrier! HA! I don't do well in cities at all, no matter what size. You'd never know I was born and raised in Florida - West Pam Beach and Ft Lauderdale til in my teens. Big city central! I hate florida. I'm a small town gal at heart.

Why don't you talk her into joining up here. She can get to know us..... the poor gal. :frog:

I have invited her. But she is a very busy mom and teacher and president of local FFA and many other things. So she doesnt get alot of online fun time. She is also a very crazy person lolol ... in a fun way of course lol. You never know what she will think of next . I wish she could join. She's got a good , well thought out opinion on alot of things. Maybe when she retires ? LOL
